Situated between warden and highway 7, Wonton Hut is usually one of my to go to restaurants for something clean and simple. We went on a weekday around 4pm, so the restaurant was not busy. Our server came pretty quickly as they assume that most customers who come know what they want (which I did haha).
The food came rather quickly, in less than 10 mins which is expected for this type of restaurant. I ordered the Wonton Noodle ($7.50) which had a pretty standard size and comes with 4 wontons. The soup was very light which accommodated the noodles and wonton well. The wonton were pretty big and flavorful, however I found that it was slightly too salty compared to Wonton Chai. The noodles were plentiful so i had no complaints there.
For a Chinese owned restaurant, the workers were pretty polite compared to many. They were quick to fill up our tea whenever the cup got empty.
TIP: they take debit and cash! -

Came here on a Sunday lunch at 1 PM. Lots of people here, had to wait in line before getting a table.
Ordered beef brisket. It was pretty decent. But after tax and tips it came to $9. Quite small bowl, won't get full afterwards. (Maybe it is just me, who eats a lot) -

One of the better wonton places, large shrimp filled wantons with al dente noodles, with a crunch. I added the beef brisket which was really tasteful. There is no MSG after taste here, I really enjoyed it.

Came here on a whim with a friend and ordered the shrimp wonton noodle soup. The old man who was the host was super sweet and welcoming. We added too much chilli oil to our broth and he noticed this and was quick to offer us soy milk rather than the usual tea. Would definitely come back.

I always like a good bowl of wonton or shui gow Mein but tonight I was too late shui gow all gone so went with wonton and beef brisket, I like the beef brisket very tender and juicy, I think the soup base was a bit salty and I like the competition soup more so it just edged this place out for me anyways, as for the server the lady was super nice and friendly.
